루마니아 11살 소녀 카리나 베기우(Carina Veghiu)가 2023 루마니아 갓 탤런트(RAT)에서 모국어가 아닌 영어로 부른 노래는 국경을 넘어 뛰어난 가창력의 감성을 전하고 있다.
3년 전 유튜브에서 당시 8살 소녀의 노래를 처음 들었다. 소녀의 SNS에서프로그램에 참가한다는 소식을 접하고 시청한 방송이었다. 11살이 된 소녀는 마치 무처럼 쑥쑥 자란 성장만큼이나 놀라운 가창력을 선보였다.
소녀는 첫 무대에서 이룰 수 없는 꿈(The Impossible Dream)을 영어로 불러 심사위원 앤디 모이세스쿠의 골든 버저로 곧바로 준결승에 진출하였다. 이는 앞편에서 소개한 7살 천재 소년 라레슈 프리사카리우의 첫 골든 버저에 이은 두 번째 골든 버저였다.
