중국 소년의 우리 동요 반달 기타 연주

우리의 동요 반달이 중국에 자리한 울림은 크다. 나아가 영원한 진행형이라는 점에서 그 의미는 더욱더 무한하다. 우리는 기억마저 아득한 어린이들 노래로 밀쳐 두고 있지만, 중국에서의 하얀 쪽배(小白船)는 세대와 시대의 구분이 없는 애창곡이며 다양한 음악으로 매만져지고 있다.
필자는 중국 어느 대학 인터넷 데이터베이스에서 북한에서 공식으로 발표한 동요 반달의 음원과 영상을 만났다. 악보와 가사는 같았지만, 단 하나 2절 가사 마지막인 (샛별이 등대란다 길을 찾아라)에서 샛별을 새별로 기록하고 있었다.
이는 잘못된 점이 아니다. 우리의 글자 훈민정음으로 쓴 최초의 작품 용비어천가 101장의 다음과 같은 구절 (太子(태자)位(위) 다거시늘 새벼리 나 도니) 는 (태자의 자리는 이와 다르시거늘 샛별이 낮에 돋으니) 의 내용으로 새별은 샛별의 옛말이기 때문이다.
