브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 쿠팡은 ‘세계 헌혈자의 날’을 맞아 지난 13일 대한산업보건협회 한마음 혈액원과 함께 ‘쿠나눔 헌혈 캠페인’을 진행했다고 14일 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 혈액 부족 문제를 해소하는데 도움이 되고자 쿠팡과 쿠팡 자회사 임직원의 자발적인 참여로 이뤄졌다.
쿠팡이 헌혈 캠페인을 진행한 것은 이번이 처음이다. 캠페인을 통해 기부 받은 헌혈증은 도움이 필요한 이웃에게 전달될 예정이다.
이번 캠페인을 기획한 쿠팡풀필먼트서비스 ESG팀 서정주 매니저는 “쿠나눔 헌혈 공지 5분만에 선착순 마감될 정도로 직원들의 참여 열기가 뜨거웠다”며 “앞으로도 임직원이 직접 참여할 수 있는 다양한 사회 공헌활동 문화를 만들어 나갈 예정이다”고 전했다.
한편, 쿠팡 및 계열사 임직원들은 지역사회와 이웃을 위해 봉사와 나눔을 지속하고 있다.
올해 1월에는 전국 쿠팡 물류센터에서 근무하는 임직원들이 자발적으로 모은 성금을 서울대학교 어린이병원에 기부했으며, 4월에는 서울 송파구 서울놀이마당에서 열린 ‘송파 어린이날 큰잔치’에 미아방지와 돌발 상황에 대비한 봉사활동을 실시했다.
또한, 5월에는 쿠팡 뷰티 본부 직원들이 한강 일대에서 쓰레기를 수거하고 주변 환경을 정비하는 ‘플로깅’을 진행했다. 플로깅은 조깅을 하면서 쓰레기를 줍는 운동을 말한다.
