세종시가 마을 경관을 저해하는 무허가 건축물에 대한 정비에 나선다.
이를 위해 세종시는 농촌지역을 중심으로 무허가 건축물에 대한 일제조사를 진행하고, 건축물대장이 없는 농촌주택에 대해 건축물대장 생성을 지원하는 한편 농가 건축물 양성화에 나서고 있다고 밝혔다.
세종시의 이번 무허가 건축물 조사는 읍면을 중심으로 마을 경관을 저해하거나 장기 방치된 건축물 중 허가를 득하지 않은 건축물 실태를 조사하고 정비에 나서기 위해 마련됐다.
이번 조사에서 세종시는 읍면지역을 대상으로 빈집 실태조사를 벌인 결과 총 647호의 빈집을 확인했고, 이 가운데 무허가건축물 127호를 확인했다.
세종시는 조사를 통해 확인된 빈집 중 68호는 미관 저해 등 방치가 부적절한 ‘특정빈집’으로 분류해 해당 건축물을 찾아 방치하기에 부적절할 경우 관련법령에 따라 빈집정비 우선 철거 대상으로 선정할 계획이다.
또한 건축법 개정(’06.05.08.) 이후 허가를 받지 않은 불법사항이 확인될 경우에는 실태조사를 통해 자진철거 등 행정조치를 할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
