세종교육청이 다음 달 말까지 안전·보건 의무 확보를 위한 ‘위험성 평가’를 실시한다.
위험성 평가는 작업장에서 발생할 수 있는 유해·위험 요인을 사전에 파악하고 개선해 사고를 예방하기 위한 것으로, 산업안전보건법에 따라 해마다 실시하기로 돼 있다.
평가는 본청과 직속 기관, 각급 학교 총 152개 기관을 대상으로 실시되며 조리·시설·청소 등 현업 업무종사자의 근무 환경인 기계·설비, 원재료, 가스, 증기, 분진, 근로자 작업 행동, 그 밖에 업무로 인한 유해·위험 요인이 점검 대상이다.
또, 근로자들이 평가에 직접 참여하고, 그 결과를 공유하는 위험성 주지 교육도 진행할 예정이다.
박점순 학교안전과장은 “이번 평가를 통해 유해?위험 요인을 사전에 개선함으로써 산업 재해를 예방하고, 안전한 작업 환경을 조성해 나가겠다.”라고 말했다.
