고양특례시는 킨텍스에서 27일 킨텍스에서 이정형 제2부시장 주재로 미국 워싱턴대학교 김용우 교수를 초청해 조립식 주택(모듈러 주택)에 대해 특별강연을 개최했다.

탈현장 생산방식(OSC)은 건축구조물, 외장재, 덕트, 파이프라인, 화장실, 기계실, 계단실을 공장에서 제작해 현장으로 운반하는 시스템을 말한다.
기존의 건축은 원재료와 생산자재를 현장으로 운반한 후 작업자가 시공하는 ‘현장생산방식’이다. 탈현장 생산방식은 기존 건축 방식에 비해 효율성을 대폭 높일 수 있어 새로운 건축공법으로 주목받고 있다.
