파주시산림조합은 27일 파주시산림조합 2층 회의실에서 전진옥 조합장을 비롯한 관내 임업후계자 40여명이 참여한 가운데 임업후계자 파주시지부 신설 창립총회를 개최했다.
최근 임업후계자 인원의 증가로 체계적인 관리의 필요성과 다른 농업관련 단체처럼 함께 목소리를 모아, 파주시 임업의 발전과 저변확대를 위해 여러차례 준비기간을 거쳐 창립총회가 개최되었다.
총회에서는 파주시 산촌마을대표 김정대 후계자가 회장으로 추대되었으며, 조경수 생산업을 운영하고 있는 조규빈후계자가 부회장, 품목별 연구회장인 김병섭후계자가 감사, DMZ숲 대표인 임미려 후계자가 총무로 선출되었다
임업후계자 파주시지부는 앞으로 분과별 활동, 세미나 개설과 현장방문등을 통해 파주시 임업인의 역량을 강화하는등 경기북부 임업 위상을 높이고, 파주시 임업발전을 위한 활동을 함께 해나갈 예정이다. [파주=박정호 기자]
