오는 4일부터 6일까지 열리는 ‘제21회 조치원복숭아축제’ 기간 중 축제장소 인근 식당 9곳에서 ‘싱싱세종 쌀밥’을 맛볼 수 있다고 세종시가 전했다.

한국 쌀 전업농 세종시연합회 주관으로 개최하는 이번 행사는 지역 쌀 소비 촉진과 싱싱세종 쌀 상표 가치향상을 위해 마련됐다.
싱싱세종 쌀밥 먹는 날은 축제기간 중 축제장 인근 식당 9곳에서 싱싱세종 쌀로 지은 밥을 손님들에게 제공하는 방식으로 진행된다.
싱싱세종 쌀은 세종시 대표 쌀 상표다.
밥맛 좋기로 잘 알려진 삼광 쌀로만 포장한 농산물우수관리(GAP) 인증을 받았다.
세종시는 이번 행사를 통해 싱싱세종 쌀의 소비자 인지도를 높이고, 안정적인 지역 쌀 소비처를 확보할 수 있을 것으로 전망하고 있다.
