희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 모바일 게임 제작사 ㈜기어세컨드(대표 김민상)가 최근 호우로 피해를 본 이웃을 위해 써달라며 성금 5천만원을 맡겨왔다고 3일 밝혔다.
기어세컨드는 “이번 집중 호우로 피해가 큰 상황에 비해 관심이 줄어들고 있는 것이 안타깝다”라며 “이재민들이 하루빨리 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있도록 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바라는 마음으로 기부하게 되었다“고 기부 배경을 밝혔다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “수해 피해 이웃에 대한 사회적 관심이 더 필요한 때에 소중한 기부로 참여해 준 기어세컨드에 감사하다”라며 신속한 피해 지원과 복구에 대한 의지를 나타냈다.
