경기도교육청, 교과교사와 사서교사 늘품협연 연수 운영

경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 독서교육 협력수업을 확대하기 위해 교과(담임)교사, 사서교사 140명을 대상으로 지난 8월 21일부터 9월 2일까지 늘품협연 연수를 운영한다.

늘품은 늘 발전할 가능성이 있는 품성의 줄임말이다. 늘품협연은 독서교육 협력수업 전문성 향상(늘품)을 위해 교과(담임)교사, 사서교사 협력수업 역량 강화를 위한 연수이다.

이번 연수는 교과교사와 사서교사의 파트너십 구축을 위해 같은 학교에서 동반 참여해 협력수업 실천 역량을 강화한다. 초·중등 학교급별로 운영하며 소그룹 형태로 함께 교육과정을 설계하고 수업을 실천한다.

연수에서는 △학교도서관과 사서교사의 역할 △2022 개정 교육과정 안내 △교과교사-사서교사 협력수업 실천 사례 공유 △교육과정 설계 실습과 발표 등 실행학습에 초점을 두었다.

특히‘학교도서관을 활용한 신나는 교과 협력수업 원격직무연수’강사들이 연수에 참여해 실천 사례를 공유한다. 추후 지역별 네트워크를 구축해 지속적으로 수업 사례를 나눌 계획이다.

도교육청 이현숙 융합교육정책과장은 “교과교사와 사서교사가 함께 교육과정을 설계하고 협력수업을 하는 문화가 확산돼야 한다”며 “학교도서관의 역할을 강화하고 교육과정 연계 학교 독서교육이 활성화하도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
