'해운대블루라인파크'가 문화경관 우수사례로 선정돼 국무총리상을 받았다.
25일 국가철도공단에 따르면 ‘동해남부선 폐선부지 개발사업으로 조성된 해운대블루라인파크가 국토교통부와 국토연구원, 건축공간연구원이 주최하는 ‘2023 대한민국 국토대전’에서 문화경관 우수사례로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
'대한민국 국토대전'은 중앙부처, 지자체, 공공기관 등을 대상으로 국토경관의 우수사례를 발굴하고 시상하는 행사이다.
'해운대블루라인파크'는 철도공단이 지난 2020년 동해남부선 폐철도부지인 해운대 ‘미포∼청사포∼송정’ 4.8km 구간을 해변열차와 스카이캡슐 운행을 통해 수려한 해안 절경을 볼 수 있도록 개발했다.
이로 인해 ’21년 ‘가장 방문하고 싶은 부산 여행지’ 1위, ’22년 ‘한국관광의 별’본상에 선정되는 등 부산의 대표 관광지로 자리 잡았다.
해운대블루라인파크의 방문객은 지난 한 해 동안 약 197만 명이 다녀간 데 이어 올해는 약 250만 명이 방문할 것으로 예상된다.
