국가철도공단 ,범죄피해자 1천만원 지원

범죄피해자 지원을 위한 업무협약이 28일 있었다.

국가철도공단은 이날 세종경찰청, 세종자치경찰위원회, 세종변호사지회와 범죄피해자 지원을 위한 업무협약식'을 갖고 지원에 나섰다.

이번 협약으로 철도공단은 범죄피해자의 보호와 실질적인 지원을 위해 1천만 원 상당의 금액을 지원하게 된다.

해당 기부금은 사회복지공동모금회(사랑의열매)를 통해 지원대상자에게 전달되며 생계비, 의료·상담비 등 경제적 지원을 위해 사용될 예정이다.

한편, 철도공단은 임직원의 자발적인 기부금으로 조성한 기금을 통해 저소득층 학생 장학금 지원, 독거노인 세대 연탄·김장 나눔 등 다양한 사회공헌활동을 지속해 오고 있다.

김한영 이사장은 “이번 협약으로 범죄 피해로 어려움을 겪고 있는 피해자와 가족들이 일상으로 복귀하는데 힘이 되길 바란다.”며, “앞으로도 철도공단은 도움이 필요한 곳에 아낌없는 지원을 통해 나눔 문화를 확산할 것.”이라고 말했다.
