브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 동료의 이직 소식에 동반 이직을 감행하는 이들이 많은 것으로 나타났다.
20일 잡코리아에 따르면 최근 남녀 직장인 716명을 대상으로 ‘동료의 이직 소식을 들었을 때 마음의 동요가 있었는가’ 질문한 결과, 71.8%가 ‘동요된다’고 답했고, ‘동요되지 않는 편이다’고 답한 이들은 7.0%로 적었다. 나머지 21.2%는 동요 정도에 대해 ‘보통이다’고 답했다.
동료 이직 소식을 들었을 때 동요된다고 답한 이들에게 어떤 영향을 받았는지 질문한 결과, ‘마음이 심란해 업무 집중력이 떨어진다’는 의견이 71.2%로 가장 많았고, ‘이직을 못하는 내가 뒤쳐진다고 생각돼 불안하고 우울하다’(57.6%), ‘퇴사자 발생으로 인한 업무 과중으로 짜증이 난다’(34.6%)고 답했다.
아울러 누구의 이직 소식에 가장 큰 영향을 받는 지 묻는 질문에는 ‘같은 연차 또는 직급의 동료 이직 소식’(74.5%)을 들었을 때 가장 심란함을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 이어 본인의 팀장이나 직속 사수(18.9%)의 이직 소식에도 마음이 흔들리는 것으로 조사된 반면, ‘후배’(4.5%)나 ‘임원’(1.9%)의 이직 소식은 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
한편, 동료의 이직 소식이 동반 이직을 부추기는 것으로 조사됐다. 직장인 10명중 8명(79.9%)이 ‘동료 이직 영향으로 이직을 고민했다’고 답한 것.
특히, 이들 중 69.9%는 이직을 위해 구직활동을 시작했다고 답했고, 30.1%는 이직 고민만 했을 뿐 실제로 구직활동을 하진 않았다고 답했다.
