의왕시청소년수련관, 청소년 인권교육 프로그램 ‘You&Me’ 성료

의왕시청소년수련관이 지난 10월 5일부터 13일까지 의왕초등학교 6학년 154명을 대상으로 한 인권교육 프로그램 ‘You&Me’ 진행, 올해 총 4개 학교의 인권 교육을 마무리했다.

의왕시청소년수련관은 내동초등학교(3월), 고천초등학교(6월), 백운호수초등학교(9월), 의왕초등학교(10월) 총 4개교 6학년 16학급을 대상으로 인권 교육을 진행했다.

의왕시청소년수련관 인권교육 프로그램은 청소년의 인권 감수성 향상과 공동체 문제해결 능력 함양, 타인과 자신의 권리 존중, 건전한 학교 문화 형성을 목표로 청소년 인권, 인권의 탄생과 배경, 경계 존중 등 총 4회기 활동으로 구성됐다.

2023년도 인권교육 프로그램은 인권교육 활동 워크북 제작 및 교육자료 개선을 통해 초등학생 눈높이에 맞는 이론·참여형 수업으로 진행됐으며, 경계 존중 나만의 문고리 만들기, 평화학교 만들기 활동 등으로 적극적인 참여를 이끌었다.

인권교육에 참여한 청소년들은 “인권교육 4회기 활동을 통해 나와 상대방의 인권을 더욱 존중하는 시간이 되었고, 만들기 활동을 통해 재미있게 인권에 대해 알아볼 수 있는 시간이었다”라고 입을 모았다.

의왕시청소년수련관 관계자는 “인권교육 프로그램 제공을 통해 학교와의 연계 관계를 형성하는 기회가 되었고, 내년에도 의왕시 청소년 인권 의식 함양을 위한 학교 연계 프로그램을 적극 개발하고 지원할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
