(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시가 1일 인천아트플랫폼(중구 해안동)을 시민이 문화와 예술을 체험하고 즐거움을 느낄 수 있는 복합 문화공간으로 전면 개편하기 위해 인천아트플랫폼 활성화 방안을 마련하고 있다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 시민의 문화예술 참여 프로그램을 다변화하고 인천 예술가들의 레지던시 공간은 대폭 확대하며 또, 아트플랫폼 야외광장 등에서 시민들이 축제 및 행사를 즐길 수 있도록 공간 마케팅도 강화하는 것이 주요 골자다.
아트플랫폼은 개항장 문화지구 내 역사·문화를 통한 원도심 활성화 계획에 따라 조성돼 예술가들의 창작활동 공간 제공과 기획공연, 전시 등을 통해 문화예술 창작 저변을 확대해 왔다.
