(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 21일 양성평등 도시를 구현하고 정책수립의 기본자료로 활용하기 위한 ‘2023 부천시 성인지 통계’를 구축·발간했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 성인지통계는 여성과 남성의 서로 다른 조건과 사회공헌, 남녀의 필요와 특수한 문제를 반영하고자 생산·제시된 통계자료의 일체로, 성별 불평등 현상을 보여주고 이를 완화·철폐하고자 생산되는 모든 통계를 말한다.
부천시는 지난달 복사골문화센터에서 ‘2023 부천시 성인지 통계 연구용역 최종보고회’를 개최했다.
보고회에는 연구용역을 담당한 경기도여성가족재단 정요한 책임연구위원, 부천시 여성정책과 및 유관기관 여성정책 관계자 등이 참석했다.
2016년 이후 7년 만에 구축한 ‘2023 부천시 성인지 통계’는 부천시민의 삶의 현황과 성별 특성을 알아볼 수 있는 10개 영역, 238개 통계지표로 이루어져 있다.
인구, 가구 및 가족, 보육, 교육, 경제활동, 보건 및 건강, 복지, 정치 및 사회참여, 문화 및 여가, 안전 및 환경 총 10개 지표를 활용하고, 이를 기반으로 변화된 사회를 분석해 부천시 정책 추진 시 적용할 계획이다.
