부천시에 따르면, 웹툰융합센터에서 개최된 이번 시상식에는 부천시민과 문학계 인사, 해외 문학창의도시 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석해 수상자인 비엣 타인 응우옌(Viet Thanh Nguyen) 작가와 김희용 번역가에게 아낌없는 축하의 박수를 보냈다.
수상작을 집필한 비엣 타인 응우옌 작가는 5천만 원, 김희용 번역가는 1천만 원의 상금을 받았다.
