브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 롯데하이마트가 오는 27일 서울대학교 글로벌공학교육센터에서 올해 첫 ‘Hi(하이) 과학콘서트’를 진행한다.
‘Hi(하이) 과학콘서트’는 롯데하이마트의 ‘과학 꿈나무 지원’ 사회공헌 프로그램으로, 2019년 시작한 이후 9회째를 맞았다. 아동들이 가전을 통해 과학원리를 보다 친숙하고 재미있게 접하고, 나아가 과학에 대한 꿈까지 키워나갈 수 있는 계기를 만들고자 기획했다.
롯데 통합 멤버십인 엘포인트(L.POINT) 회원이라면 누구나 신청할 수 있다. 앞서 롯데하이마트는 지난 19일까지 롯데하이마트온라인쇼핑몰과 모바일 앱(APP)에서 참가 신청을 받은 뒤 추첨을 통해 참가자를 선정했다.
‘제 9회 Hi(하이) 과학콘서트’는 아이들이 재미있게 참여하면서 동시에 과학도 배울 수 있는 2가지 콘텐츠로 구성했다. 첫 번째는 인기 과학 유튜버 ‘궤도’와 함께하는 ‘과학 토크&미니어처 가전 만들기’로, 가전제품 속 과학 원리를 이해하면서 직접 미니어처 헤어드라이기를 만들 수 있다. 두 번째는 ‘과학마술쇼’로, 3D 프린터를 활용한 마술부터 착시 실험, 굴절 마술 등 기초 과학 원리를 바탕으로 한 11가지 마술을 보여준다.
정상국 롯데하이마트 전략기획부문장은 “일상에서 늘 접하는 가전들을 통해 과학원리를 알아가면서, 어려운 줄만 알았던 과학에 대한 흥미도 느끼고 좋은 추억을 만드는 시간이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 가전 유통업과 관련해 아이들의 꿈을 지원할 수 있는 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 이어나가겠다”고 말했다.
