세종소방서는 20일 2층 대회의실에서 ‘세종소방서 소방발전협의회’ 출범식을 열고 민관 협력을 통한 소방정책 발전과 지역 소방안전 강화에 나서기로 했다.
이번 협의회 출범은 소방안전 정책을 추진함에 있어 다양한 의견을 반영하기 위해 지역사회 인사, 재난안전 관계자 등이 참여하는 민·관협의체가 필요하다는 판단에 따른 것이다.
이날 위촉된 협의회 위원은 소방안전정책에 관심과 이해가 높고 분야별 지식·경험이 풍부한 지역인사 6명이 위촉됐다.
위촉된 위원들은 2년의 임기 동안 지역 특성과 시민 생활에 밀접한 소방안전 정책과제를 발굴하고 주요 정책 자문·홍보를 통해 세종소방의 발전과 지역 소방안전 강화에 선도적 역할을 수행할 예정이다.
위촉식은 ▲위촉장 수여 ▲주요업무 소개 ▲소방정책발전 및 협의회 운영방안 논의 순으로 진행됐다.
김상진 세종소방서장은 “세종시민의 안전과 고품질 소방서비스 제공을 위해 협의회에 적극 참석해 주신 것에 감사의 뜻을 전한다”며 “앞으로 다양한 의견과 아이디어를 적극 제시해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
이어 “세종은 국가중요기관 소재 및 다양한 행사 등 새로운 소방안전 수요가 증가하고 있는 만큼 민·관의 유기적인 협력체계 강화와 근무여건 개선을 위해 함께 노력해 나가길 바란다”고 말했다.
