[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 16일 기획재정부 등 중앙부처를 찾아 내년도 주요 현안사업에 대한 국비 지원을 건의했다.
이날 조 시장은 김윤상 기재부 2차관과 기재부 예산심의관들을 차례로 만나 진주미래 발전을 위해 국비 확보가 반드시 필요한 핵심 사업에 대해 정부 예산안 반영을 요청했다.
시가 건의한 주요 사업은 원도심 관광골목 명소화, 도시숲 가족 힐링충전소 구축, 생활자원회수센터 확충, 정촌 체육시설(수영장) 건립 등 모두 6건으로 예산규모는 약 440억원이다.
특히 시는 미래모빌리티 핵심 소재부품 인증테스트필드 구축 사업의 신규 예산 반영을 적극 요청했으며, 우주환경시험시설 구축사업의 사업비가 감액되지 않도록 협조를 요청했다.
조규일 시장은 기재부 방문 후에는 현안사업의 원활한 추진과 정부 부처의 협조를 요청하기 위해 행정안전부와 국토교통부를 차례로 찾았다.
