【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회 경제산업위원회(위원장 정종문)는 19일 감포읍에서 피서객 및 어선의 안전사고 예방을 위한 현장방문을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

현장방문 일정의 첫 순서로 어업 지도단속, 해양오염 예찰, 해난사고 대응 등의 임무를 수행하는 해양복합행정선인 문무대왕호에 대하여 관련부서의 운항실적 보고가 진행됐으며, 행정선의 실제 업무와 역할을 확인하기 위해 위원들이 직접 문무대왕호에 탑승하고 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.
이어서 나정고운모래해변 오토캠핑장을 방문하여 하계 피서객을 위한 관내 4개소(오류, 나정, 봉길, 관성)의 해수욕장과 바다시청·상황실 운영계획에 대한 보고를 청취하고, 오토캠핑장 전기설비 및 편의시설의 불편사항 및 위험요소를 파악하기 위한 점검을 실시했다.
정종문 경제산업위원장은 “하계 휴가철을 맞이하여 경주를 찾는 피서객들이 안전하고 즐겁게 여행을 보낼 수 있도록 캠핑장 및 해수욕장 전반에 걸쳐 현장점검을 실시했으며, 육지에서의 감시활동에 대한 한계를 극복하기 위해 운영 중인 행정선의 활동상황에 대해서도 꼼꼼하게 점검했다.”고 말하며, “해양수산자원을 보호하고 어업 종사자와 피서객의 안전을 확보하기 위한 경주시의 다양한 활동에 대해 적극적인 협조를 당부드린다.”고 전했다.
