【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교경주병원(병원장 정주호)은 지난 5일 건강보험심사평가원에서 발표한 2023년(4차)환자경험평가 결과 1등급을 획득했다고 9일 밝혔다.

환자경험평가는 환자가 병원에 입원해 있는 동안 개인의 선호, 필요 및 가치에 상응하는 의료서비스를 제공받았는지를 확인하는 평가이다. 국민이 체감할 수 있는 의료질 향상을 위해 건강보험심사평가원이 지난 2017년부터 시행하고 있다.
평가는 전체 종합병원으로 확대 시행돼 상급종합병원 47곳과 종합병원 327곳을 포함한 총 374개 의료기관의 퇴원환자 6만 4246명을 대상으로 실시했다.
평가항목은 △간호사 △의사 △투약 및 치료과정 △병원환경 △환자권리보장 △전반적 평가로 모두 6개이다.
동국대학교경주병원은 고객경험 향상을 위해 TF팀을 구성하여 의료서비스 개선 및 환자중심 의료서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 노력해왔다.
정주호 병원장은 “환자중심의 의료문화 확산을 위해 전 구성원들이 노력한 결과로 환자경험 향상 뿐 아니라 지역책임의료기관으로서의 그 역할을 다하도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
