의왕시, 2025년 생활임금 ‘시급 11,480원’ 확정

의왕시 2025년 생활임금이 시급 1만1,480원으로 확정됐다.

김영수 부시장 주재로 열린 ‘의왕시 생활임금 위원회’는 지난 9월 2일 시청 소회의실에서 회의를 열고 시급을 결정했다.

이번 생활임금위원회는 2024년 생활임금 대비 3%를 인상해 시급 1만1,480원으로 심의·의결했다. 이번 결정에 따라 의왕시는 2025년에 의왕시 소속 및 출자·출연기관 소속 기간제 근로자에게 최저임금 1만30원의 약 114%인 월급 239만9,320원을 지급하게 된다.

생활임금위원장인 김영수 부시장은 “의왕시는 앞으로도 근로자의 생활 안정과 삶의 질 향상을 위해 노력해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
