세종특별자치시교육청이 2025학년도 초등학교 통학구역 및 중학교 학교군 설정을 본격적으로 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이에 따라, 세종시교육청은 5-1 생활권 내 개교 예정인 ‘합강1초’(초5-2) 및 ‘합강2초’(초5-7) 두 개 학교의 통학구역을 설정하였다. 이 과정에서 적정 규모의 학급 편제와 학생들의 통학 여건을 종합적으로 고려하였다.
또한, 중학교에 대해서는 5생활권 내 개교 예정인 ‘합강중’(중5-1)과 ‘다솜중’(중5-2), ‘중5-3’ 총 세 개 학교의 학교군을 설정하였으며, 청주시 중학교 학교군 개편에 따른 변동 사항도 반영하였다.
