광명시, 권역별 찾아가는 시민과의 대화

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 박승원 광명시장은 ‘2024 권역별 찾아가는 시민과의 대화’를 개최한다.

오는 7일부터 21일까지 다양한 시민들의 의견을 청취하고 생활민원 해결과 민생을 챙기기 위해 퇴근길 시민들을 찾아 나선다.

시는 매년 연초에 실시하는 ‘시민과의 대화 및 동 방문’과 하반기에 실시하는 ‘우리동네 시장실’ 등을 통해 지역주민과 소통하고 있으나 직장인, 학생 등의 참여가 어렵다는 한계를 극복해 보다 다양한 시민이 참여할 수 있도록 이번 만남의 장을 저녁 시간대 열도록 기획했다.

아울러 이번 소통의 장은 권역별 유동인구가 많은 야외에서 진행되기 때문에 근처를 지나다 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 것도 특징이다.

박승원 광명시장은 “이번 권역별 시민과의 대화는 시민의 의견을 직접 듣고 함께 지역의 문제와 해결책을 고민하는 자리”라며 “누구나 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 열린 공간에서 시민의 의견이 실제 정책에 반영될 수 있는 기회의 장이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 ▲철산권(10. 7.(월), 인생플러스센터 앞 광장) ▲일직·소하권(10. 11.(금), 새빛공원) ▲광명권(10. 15.(화), 광명사거리역 쉼터) ▲소하권(10. 18.(금), 한내천 원형광장) ▲하안권(10. 21.(월), 시민체육관 대리석광장) 순으로 총 5회 진행된다.

한편 시는 다양한 의견을 청취하기 위해 온라인 설문조사도 진행 중이다. 온라인 설문조사는 오는 11일까지 누구나 광명시 공식 블로그, 페이스북 등 온라인 소통 채널을 통해 참여할 수 있으며, 주요 관심사와 시정에 대한 궁금증 등을 질문할 수 있다. 참여자 중 50명을 추첨해 커피 쿠폰을 제공하는 이벤트도 진행한다.
