세종특별자치시가 4일 세종특별자치시교육청과 세종시청에서 2024년도 교육행정협의회를 개최하고, 세종시의 미래교육 환경 조성을 위한 논의의 시간을 가졌다.
이번 회의는 교육행정협의회 위원 등 12명이 참석한 가운데 교육청의 ‘2025년 법정전입금 교육비특별회계 세출예산 편성안’과 ‘2025년 비법정전입금 및 교육경비 지원 예산안’을 심의·의결하고 협력사업 등을 논의했다.
이날 심의 내용은 교복비 지원 ,동지역 통학차량 지원 ,통학로 안전지킴이 ,진로체험지원센터 운영 ,세종 교육국제화특구 운영 ,읍면지역 기숙형학교 경비 지원 등 6개 사업이다.
또, 현재 현물 형태의 교복 지원 방식을 실수요자인 학생과 학부모가 필요한 방식으로 개선하는 방향의 학생 교복 지원 방식 개선안에 대해 논의했다.
세종시와 교육청은 모두 교복 지원 방식 개선이 필요하다는 데 공감하고 실효성 있는 교복지원 사업을 추진해 가기로 했다.
이날 회의에서 심의·의결된 예산안은 시의회 상임위원회와 예산결산위원회 등을 거쳐 오는 12월 확정될 예정이다.
