이권재 오산시장, 신임학교장과 간담회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시는 관내 신임 학교장들과 소통 시간을 가졌다.

4일 오산시청 집무실에서 이권재 오산시장을 비롯해 9월 1일 취임한 성호초등학교 장세미 교장, 오산원일초등학교 김세중 교장, 성호고등학교 이기섭 교장, 운천고등학교 이상용 교장이 참석했다.

이권재 오산시장과 신임학교장은 오산교육의 전반적인 목표와 비전을 공유하고 AI코딩교육, 학교시설개방, AI 마이스터고 설립, 원어민 화상영어 등 관내 학생들을 위한 현안 사업에 대한 이야기를 나눴다.

이권재 오산시장은 “교육은 우리의 미래를 책임지는 중요한 분야이다. 지속적인 소통과 협력을 통해 함께하는 미래교육을 그리겠다”며 “오산시의 교육환경을 더욱 풍요롭게 만들기 위해 아낌없는 조언과 협력을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.

한편 시는 매년 상·하반기 관내 신임 교장들과의 간담회를 통해 지역과 학교가 함께 만드는 교육문화를 조성해 시와 학교의 긴밀한 협력체계를 구축하고 있으며 오산시를 빛내는 우수한 ‘오산형 인재양성’이라는 공동의 목표를 적극 추진해 나가고 있다.
