평택시, 민세 안재홍 선생 생가 문화제 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시는 제578돌 한글날을 맞이하여 ' 민세 안재홍 선생 생가 문화제'를 개최했다.

지난 9일 평택시 고덕면 두릉리 생가에서 정장선 평택시장을 비롯하여 민세안재홍선생기념사업회 회원, 내빈, 시민 등 100여 명이 참석했다.

민족지도자 민세 안재홍 선생(1891~1965)은 평택시 고덕면 두릉리 출신으로 일제강점기 조선어학회 회원으로 활동하며 한글 수호에 힘쓰셨고, 조선어 표준어사전 사정위원으로도 활동하시다가, 1942년 10월 일제가 날조한 조선어학회 사건으로 9번째 옥고를 치르셨다.

또한, 민세 안재홍 선생은 위당 정인보 선생과 함께 다산 정약용 선생의 문집 「여유당 전서」를 간행하여 조선학의 중요성을 일깨우며 조선학운동에 힘썼다.
