[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 마찰교 인근 조만강에서 하반기 수질오염사고 대응 합동 방제훈련을 실시했다고 11일 밝혔다.
이번 훈련은 수질오염사고 발생 시 신속한 방제와 사고 대응능력 향상을 위해 매년 상·하반기로 나눠 연 2회 실시하고 있다.
하반기 훈련은 마찰교 인근 도로에서 탱크로리가 전도되는 사고가 발생해 유류 약 50ℓ가 용산천을 거쳐 조만강으로 일부 유출된 상황을 설정해 시 환경정책과와 생활지원과(장유출장소) 직원 18명이 동원돼 실제 상황과 동일하게 이뤄졌다.
훈련은 ▲유류유출 사고 접수 ▲상황 전파와 현장 확인 ▲유관기관 사고상황 보고 ▲공공수역 유류 유출 차단을 위한 초동 대응(사고지점 흡착포 설치) ▲흡착포, 흡착붐 등의 방제장비를 활용한 유류유출 확산 방지 ▲방제 완료와 하류 순찰 ▲훈련 종료와 방제장비, 물품 회수 순으로 진행됐다.
이용규 환경정책과장은 “실전 같은 합동 방제훈련으로 실제 방제조치 요령을 숙지하고 관계기관과 협력 강화, 방제장비와 인력의 적정 배분으로 유사사고 발생 시 신속한 대응으로 수질오염 예방에 크게 기여할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
