전국(장애인)체전 기간 동안 2,502명의 자원봉사자가 참여해 개.폐막식 지원, 종합상황실 및 경기운영 지원, 교통 지원, 경기장 안내, 홍보 지원, 도핑 지원 등 다양한 분야에서 열정적인 역할을 수행했다. 특히 관내 청년과 대학생들로 구성된 400여 명의 2030청년봉사단의 역동적인 활약은 외지인들로부터 큰 호평을 받았다.
