김해시가 제105회 전국체육대회와 제44회 전국장애인전국체육대회를 성공적으로 마무리하며 스포츠 대도시로서 위상을 높이는 계기가 됐다. 지난 10월 11일 김해종합운동장에서 개막해 30일 대장정을 마무리했다.
