[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 7일 시청 소회의실에서 김해시지속가능발전협의회 주관으로 제5기 김해시지속가능발전대학 수료식이 열렸다고 8일 밝혔다.
김해시지속가능발전대학은 지속가능도시 김해 만들기를 선도할 교육전문가 양성을 위해 환경·사회·경제 등 각 분야 전문가를 강사진으로 구성해 5주 동안 총 10강으로 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 관련된 다양한 교육을 진행했다.
총 36명이 수강, 최종 22명에게 수료증이 수여됐으며, 수료자는 오는 27일부터 29일까지 열리는 심화교육과정(교안 작성법, 강의법 실습 등)을 이수하면 내년 ‘찾아가는 지속가능발전 처음학교’의 강사 선발 응시 기회가 부여된다.
교육생들은 “지속가능발전에 대한 깊은 이해를 얻었고 지속가능한 사회를 위해 함께하는 실천과 배려가 중요함을 깨달았다”고 말했다.
이용규 환경정책과장은 “지난 5주 동안 늦은 시간까지 교육에 참여해 수료하신 분들께 진심으로 축하드린다”며 “현 세대보다 미래 세대가 보다 나은 삶을 누릴 수 있도록 사회적 책임을 인식하고 이를 지역사회에 확산시키는 시민교육의 기회에 적극적인 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
