세종시 공공보건의료 역량 강화를 위한 심포지엄이 20일 열렸다.
세종시와 세종충남대학교 병원은 이날 세종충남대 병원 도담홀에서 공공보건의료 감염관리 분야 연계·협력 발전 방향을 논의했다.
이날 심포지엄에는 공공보건의료 분야 관계자 150여 명이 참석했다.
심포지엄은 지역사회 연계·협력사업’을 주제로 기조발제, 주제발표, 토론 순으로 진행됐다.
기조발제는 감염관리 역량 강화를 위한 지역사회 역할을 주제로 이재갑 한림대 강남성심병원 교수가 맡았다.
이어 세종시 감염관리 분야 연계·협력사업을 주제로 김성표 고려대 환경시스템공학과 교수가 ‘하수를 이용한 감염병 모니터링 사례와 의의’를 발표했다.
또 세종권역 공공보건의료협력체계구축사업 서제희 총괄교수의 ‘하수를 이용한 CRE 및 주요 감염병 모니터링 시범사업’, 박건민 세종시 감염병관리지원단 연구원의 ‘세종시 중소병원 손위생 수행률 개선사업’이 각각 소개됐다.
마지막 토론에서는 김성민 세종시 감염병관리지원단장을 좌장으로 정윤석 질병관리청 고위험병원체분석과장, 최정화 대한감염관리간호사회 회장, 김란희 케이에이디 이사가 패널로 참여해 공공보건의료에 대해 다양한 의견을 공유했다.
이영옥 보건복지국장은 “이번 심포지엄을 통해 책임의료기관의 역량을 강화하고 지역사회 내에서 공공의료의 역할을 한층 확대해 나갈 수 있을 것”이라며 “앞으로도 시민들에게 수준 높은 의료서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 책임의료기관과 지속적으로 협력해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
