[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 반려동물 관련 영업자는 소비자 보호와 동물복지 향상을 위해 의무교육을 이수해야 한다고 21일 밝혔다.
8개 업종의 영업자가 모두 교육 대상에 해당되며 영업 허가·등록받은 날부터 1년이 되는 날이 속하는 해의 1월 1일부터 12월 31일 사이 매년 3시간 이상을 이수해야 한다.
교육 미이수 시 100만원 이하의 과태료에 처해져 주의가 요구된다.
교육은 영업 시 알아야 할 동물보호법과 업종별 규정 및 행정처분 사례에 관한 내용 등으로 영상 강의, 시험 및 설문으로 진행되며 동물사랑배움터→학습하기→온라인교육→영업자→업종에 해당되는 의무교육을 이수하면 된다.
교육 이수 시에도 주의가 필요하다.
영상 강의, 시험, 설문 3가지를 모두 이행해야 이수처리가 된다.
강의만 듣거나 설문에 참여하지 않는 경우 등 1가지라도 이행하지 않은 경우 이수처리가 되지 않는다.
특히 업종이 여러 개 허가·등록이 되어 있는 경우 업종을 각각 이수해야 한다.
예컨대 동물미용업과 동물위탁관리업 2가지 업종이 등록되어 있는 경우 각각을 이수해야 하며 동물미용업만 이수했다면 동물위탁관리업 미이수로 과태료 부과 대상이 된다.
이에 앞서 김해시는 공문, 전화, 문자 발송 등 지속적으로 교육 홍보를 했다.
장유출장소 관할인 장유지역 및 폐업이 확인된 곳을 제외하고 정기교육 이수 대상인 145개소 모두 2023년도 교육을 이수하며 이수율 100%를 달성했다.
