[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시와 인제대학교는 11일 인제대학교에서 ‘2024년 제1차 글로컬대학 위원회 정기회’를 개최했다.
글로컬대학 위원회는 김해시, 인제대, 가야대, 김해대, 김해상공회의소 기관장으로 구성되어 인제대학교 글로컬대학 사업 운영과 관리에 필요한 중요한 사항을 심의하고 의결하는 의사결정기구이다.
이날 회의는 공동위원장인 홍태용 김해시장과 전민현 인제대학교 총장을 비롯해 안상근 가야대 총장, 편금식 김해대 총장, 글로컬사업운영위원회 위원 등 20여명이 참석한 가운데, 글로컬대학 사업 운영규정과 각종 위원회 규정 제정 안건을 의결하고 그간 추진사항과 1차연도 90개 세부프로그램의 사업예산 및 진행상황등을 점검했다.
회의에서는 1차연도 글로컬대학 핵심과제인 김해인재양성재단 설립추진, 초·중등교육에서부터 성인학습자 평생교육 프로그램 운영, 학사제도 개편과 바이오헬스, 스마트물류, 미래모빌리티 현장캠퍼스 시설과 장비 구축 및 전담인력 채용 등 ‘교육환경 기반조성’에 대해 논의했다.
또 지자체와 산업체와의 대학연계사업 추진을 통한 사업 발전방향도모색했다.
앞서 25일에는 김해시 인구청년정책관 등 11개 부서와 인제대학교 글로컬대학사업본부 교직원들이 실무회의를 진행해 50여개 연계사업의 추진방향과 추후 협업계획에 대해 의견을 나눈 바 있다.
시는 글로컬대학 최종 선정 후 인제대와 함께 사업을 본격화 하면서 청년정주, 지역전략산업, 평생교육, 보건 및 다문화 등 시정의 다양한 분야의 과제들을 연계하며 지역과 대학의 상생을 위해 적극 노력하고 있다.
홍태용 김해시장은 인사말에서 “우리시 내년 시정슬로건은‘대전환의 시작, 글로컬시티 김해’로 지자체와 대학과 산업계, 시민들이 함께 만들어가는 글로컬대학 프로젝트가 바로 도시대전환의 시작이다”며“지역과 대학이 하나된 모습으로 협업의 그림을 잘 그려나가길 기대한다”고 말했다.
