브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 나의 ‘메이플스토리’ 캐릭터와 함께 사진을 찍을 수 있는 포토존을 CGV용산아이파크몰에 마련했다고 17일 밝혔다.
CGV용산아이파크몰과 ‘메이플스토리’ 이용자의 재미있는 경험을 목적으로 열리는 이번 포토존은 오는 19일 ‘메이플스토리’의 올 겨울 첫 업데이트를 기념해 진행되는 것으로, 지난 7일 쇼케이스 현장에서 나의 캐릭터를 활용한 이색적인 참여형 이벤트로 큰 호응을 얻었던 ‘호텔 아르크스, 버려진 자동차 극장’의 캐릭터 포토존과 동일한 형태로 운영된다.
CGV용산아이파크몰 7층에 3면으로 된 LED 디스플레이 ‘윙 파노라마’ 공간을 활용, 방문객들에게 내 캐릭터가 오프라인 공간에 등장하는 색다른 경험을 제공한다. 포토존은 내년 1월 15일까지 매일 오후 1시와 4시, 6시에 1시간씩 세 타임으로 운영된다.
기본적으로는 ‘메이플스토리’ 직업 대표 코디의 캐릭터가 화면에 노출되고, 현장에 온 방문객이 ‘메이플 포토존’ 하단에 설치돼 있는 리더기에 QR 코드를 찍으면 나의 캐릭터가 화면에 등장한다.
내 캐릭터를 포토존에 노출시키기 위해서는 ‘메이플스토리’ 캐릭터를 보유해야 하며, QR 코드는 앱 ‘메이플핸즈+’에서 확인할 수 있다. 내 캐릭터의 QR 코드가 보이지 않을 경우에는 앱의 최신 업데이트가 필요하다.
한편, 넥슨 ‘메이플스토리’는 오는 19일 6차 전직 ‘HEXA스킬’의 3차·4차 마스터리 코어를 추가한다. ‘HEXA스킬’의 4개 마스터리 코어를 게임에 모두 적용하면, 이용자들은 한 층 더 강력해진 캐릭터의 스킬을 즐길 수 있다.
