[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 2025년 새해 ‘대전환 원년’을 표방한다.
2024년 전국(장애인)체전, 동아시아문화도시, 김해문화의 해까지 대형 행사를 한꺼번에 치러낸 역량을 바탕으로 시·군 통합 30주년을 맞아 다가올 30년을 준비하는 대전환의 기반을 마련하려는 것이다.
내년은 민선8기를 완성하는 해이기도 해 매진해온 사업들의 결실을 맺어야 하고 중장기 사업들은 지속가능성을 확보해야 하지만 최근의 대내외 불확실성 증가로부터 시민들이 위축되지 않도록 민생안정을 최우선 과제로 추진한다.
이를 위해 시는 상황 안정까지 민생안정대책반을 운영해 민생경제, 재난안전, 취약계층을 지원하며 2025년 상반기 중 예산의 65% 이상을 신속 집행하고 소상공인·중소기업 육성자금은 1월 중 신청을 접수해 신속 지원하는 등 민생안정에 전 행정력을 모은다.

▲ 대전환 토대 마련…글로컬시티 도약
시는 향후 30년을 위한 대전환의 토대를 다지기 위해 2025년은 △글로컬대학 사업 통합 거버넌스(김해인재양성재단) 구축 △김해시 2050 중장기발전계획 수립 △시군 통합 30주년 시민주간 운영 △2040 인구정책 중장기 로드맵 수립을 추진한다.
시는 인제대학교가 주관하는 글로컬대학 사업으로 실무인재와 지역산업 육성-일자리 창출-청년 정주의 선순환 체계를 확립하고자 2025년 10월까지 김해인재양성재단을 설립해 지자체·대학·산업이 함께하는 다양한 협업연계과제를 추진한다.
또 지역성을 세계성으로 확장한 글로컬시티 도약을 위해 국제 교류협력 네트워크 다각화에 나선다.
기존 국제자매·우호도시를 기반으로 도시 교류와 거점 대학 간 교류 확대가 민간 전 분야 교류로 이어지도록 협력사업을 발굴해 단계별로 추진해 나간다.

또 중소기업육성자금 지원 요건 중 협약체결기업은 매출실적을 면제해 지원 요건을 완화하는 등 기업하기 좋은 환경을 확대하고 수출, 창업 역량 강화, 지역상권 활성화 시책을 이어간다.

시는 공원묘원 플라스틱 조화 근절사업의 전국 확산을 기반으로 대한민국 탄소중립의 바로미터라는 사실을 계속해서 증명해 나가기 위해 탄소중립 녹색성장 기본계획(2025~2034년)을 수립한다.

시는 새로운 인프라 구축으로 기존 인프라와 네트워킹 생산성 확장에도 주력한다. 동북아 물류플랫폼 유치를 위해 특별법 제정 상황을 주시하며 국가·지역전략사업 선정과 사업예정지 그린벨트 해제를 함께 추진해 나간다.
또 경전철 역세권개발 종합계획을 수립한다. 불암역~전하교 구간은 도시건축디자인 혁신방안 수립과 전하교~가야대역 구간은 노후계획도시정비기본계획과 연계한다.
2026년까지 466억원을 들여 부전~마산 복선전철 신월역을 조기 완공하고 김해~밀양고속도로 창원 연장을 지속 추진한다.
