브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 홈플러스는 27일 부산·울산·경남지역 직원들을 대상으로 희망퇴직 신청을 받기로 했다고 밝혔다.
이번 희망퇴직은 해당 지역의 인력수급 불균형이 장기화되면서 점차 심화됨에 따라 체질개선을 통해 조직건전성을 개선하기 위한 것이다. 자발적으로 희망퇴직을 신청한 직원만을 대상으로 시행한다.
이번 희망퇴직 신청 대상자는 현재 부산·울산·경남지역 점포 소속으로 10년 이상 근속한 직원이다. 희망퇴직자에게는 법정 퇴직금 외에 최대 월평균급의 18개월~20개월 치를 위로금으로 지급한다.
홈플러스 관계자는 “이번 희망퇴직은 일부 지역의 조직 체질개선을 위한 것으로, 추가적인 희망퇴직은 고려하고 있지 않다”고 말했다.
이어 “조직건전성 개선을 위한 체질개선과 경쟁력 강화를 위해 부산·울산·경남지역 거점 점포인 아시아드점과 센텀시티점을 ‘홈플러스 메가 푸드 마켓 라이브’로 전환하는 등 지속성장을 위한 미래 투자를 더욱 확대함으로써 지역 내 리더십을 계속 유지해 나갈 것이다”고 덧붙였다.
