[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 제3대 김해시복지재단 임주택 대표이사가 13일 임명장을 받고 2년간 재단을 이끌어 간다.
홍태용 김해시장은 이날 임명장을 수여하고 “사회복지의 중요성이 더욱 커진 시기에 전문성과 행정능력을 모두 겸비한 임주택 대표이사 임용으로 `더 큰 나눔과 실천`으로 시민들의 삶을 더욱 풍요롭고 행복하게 만드는 데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.”고 말했다.
공모 및 김해시의회 인사청문회를 거쳐 취임한 임주택 대표이사는 1991년 동상동에서의 공직을 시작으로 김해시 생활안정과장, 복지국장 등을 거쳐 33년간 공직에 몸담아 온 전문가이다.
임주택 대표이사는 “단순히 서비스를 제공하는 복지를 넘어 지역 내 복지시설, 기업, 단체와 협력하여 상생의 생태계를 조성하고 김해 시민들과 함께 지역사회의 행복한 변화를 주도할 수 있는 복지정책을 추진하겠다.”며 포부를 밝혔다.
대표이사 취임식은 별도로 진행하지 않으며 기관 현장 방문을 통해 현안 업무 및 문제점 등을 점검할 예정이다.
김해시복지재단은 2014년 4월 설립된 지방 공공기관으로 12개의 시설을 운영하며 노인, 장애인, 청소년, 여성 등 다양한 분야의 맞춤형 사회복지사업 추진 등 김해시민의 복지 향상을 위해 지역복지의 허브 역할을 수행해 오고 있다.
