[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시와 인제대학교는 학생들의 직무역량을 키워 지역에 정착, 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 교육의 장이자 산학 공동연구를 수행하는 혁신 공간으로 활용되는 현장캠퍼스가 지난해에 이어 올해도 개소되고 있다.
지난 20일 김해골든루트산업단지 내 디케이락㈜ 본사에서 글로컬대학 현장캠퍼스 개소식을 개최했다.
개소식에는 전민현 인제대 총장, 노은식 디케이락㈜ 회장, 박성연 김해시 기획조정실장을 비롯해 관계자 30여명이 참석해 글로컬대학의 올시티캠퍼스 비전을 실현하기 위한 현장교육과 산학연 공동연구의 강한 의지를 표명했다.
앞서 지난해 12월 자동차부품업체 ㈜대흥알앤티 현장캠퍼스 개소에 이은 두 번째 글로컬대학 현장캠퍼스이다.
산업용 피팅 밸브 제조사인 디케이락㈜은 지역 일자리 창출과 경제 활성화에 크게 기여해 온 대표적인 강소기업이면서 김해시가 첨단 제조업 중심지로 자리 잡는 데 중추적인 역할을 하고 있는 글로벌 기업이다.
디케이락㈜ 노은식 회장은 “디케이락 현장캠퍼스는 학생들에게 배움의 기회를 제공하는 동시에 지역 기업으로서 지역 청년들과 함께 성장할 수 있는 연결 고리가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 교육과 산업을 잇는 가교 역할을 충실히 해나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
전민현 총장은 “대학에서 현장 교육과 실무 경험을 제공해 창의적이고 경쟁력 있는 인재를 양성하겠다”며 “앞으로도 산업계와의 긴밀한 협력으로 지역사회와 국가 발전에 기여하는 교육기관으로 자리매김하겠다”고 말했다.
박성연 김해시 기획조정실장은 “청년들이 다양한 유형의 현장캠퍼스에서 김해 강소기업들의 글로벌 기업로서 활약상을 체득할 수 있는 기회이자 일자리 미스매치를 해소하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”며 “김해시도 다양한 형태의 산학 협력으로 글로컬대학 현장캠퍼스 운영을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
인제대는 글로컬대학 선정 이전부터 산학 협력을 통한 실무중심 교육을 위해 스마트의약품 공동물류센터, ㈜공감오래콘텐츠 등과 협약을 맺어 현장캠퍼스를 운영하고 있다.
김해시는 앞으로 바이오헬스, 스마트물류, 미래모빌리티 등 전략산업 기반구축시설들이 준공하거나 운영되는 시기에 맞춰 현장캠퍼스 협약을 추진할 계획이다.
이러한 계획을 통해 지역 전략산업의 성장 기반을 다지고 혁신적인 산학협력 모델을 지속적으로 구축해 나갈 방침이다.

Gimhae City and Inje University are opening field campuses this year, following last year, that serve as educational venues to help students develop their job skills and settle and grow in the region, as well as innovative spaces for conducting industry-university joint research.
On the 20th, the Glocal University Field Campus Opening Ceremony was held at the DK Lock Co., Ltd. headquarters in Gimhae Golden Route Industrial Complex.
About 30 people, including Inje University President Jeon Min-hyun, DK Lock Co., Ltd. Inje University has been operating on-site campuses through agreements with Smart Pharmaceutical Joint Logistics Center and Gonggam Orae Contents Co., Ltd. for practical education through industry-academic cooperation since before being selected as a Global University.
Gimhae City plans to pursue on-site campus agreements in line with the completion or operation of strategic industry infrastructure facilities such as biohealth, smart logistics, and future mobility.
Through these plans, the city plans to solidify the growth foundation of regional strategic industries and continuously build innovative industry-academic cooperation models.
