[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 수송 부문 미세먼지 저감을 위해 ‘2025 노후경유차 조기폐차 지원과 어린이 통학차량 LPG차 전환지원’ 사업을 추진한다고 4일 밝혔다.
조기폐차 지원사업은 47억원으로 경유차 1,905대, 지게차·굴착기 74대를 지원할 계획이며 지원 대상은 배출가스 4·5등급 경유차, 2009년 8월 31일 이전 배출허용기준을 적용받고 제작된 도로용 3종 건설기계, 2004년 이전 제작된 지게차·굴착기이다.
조기폐차 지원대상은 접수 마감일 기준 대기관리권역에 6개월 이상 연속해 등록돼 있어야 하고 총중량 3.5t 이상 차량의 경우 소유기간이 6개월 이상이어야 한다.
다만, 정기검사 결과 부적합 판정을 받거나 정부 지원을 통해 배출가스 저감장치 부착 또는 저공해엔진으로 개조한 사실이 있는 경우는 제외된다.
작년과 달리 배출가스 5등급 차량의 경우 연료 관계없이 신청 가능하며 총중량 3.5t 미만 5등급 차량의 경우 차량 기본 지원율이 개편됐으며 신차 구입 시 50%를 추가 지원한다.
또 조기폐차 대상차량 확인 비용 지원이 추가됐다.
조기폐차 지원금은 폐차지원금과 조건에 맞는 차량을 구매한 경우 지급되는 추가구매지원금으로 나눠 지급되며 차종·연식에 따라 상한액 내에서 차등 지급된다.
상한액은 4·5등급 경유차의 경우 300만원에서 1억원, 지게차·굴착기의 경우 1,050만원에서 1억2,000만원이다.
조기폐차 신청 기간은 오는 14일까지이며 배출가스 종합전산시스템이나 시청 기후대응과 방문으로 신청할 수 있다.
어린이 통학차량 LPG차 전환사업의 경우 올해는 총 5대, 1대당 300만원의 지원금을 지원하며 대상은 어린이 통학버스 신고증명서 상 주소지가 김해시이면서 경유차를 폐차하고 LPG 신차를 구입해 어린이 통학버스로 신고하는 차량 소유자이다.
어린이통학차량 신청기간은 오는 21까지이며 시청 기후대응과를 방문하거나 등기우편으로 신청할 수 있다.
김해시 관계자는 “올해 5등급 지원이 추가되고 보조금 지원율도 확대됐다. 보조금 지원 혜택도 받고 미세먼지 저감에 기여할 수 있는 좋은 기회이므로 시민들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
