브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 안희정 전 충남도지사가 수행비서 성폭행과 관련, 피해자 김지은씨에게 8300여만원을 배상하라는 2심 판결이 나왔다.
서울고법 민사3-3부(부장판사 배용준·견종철·최현종)는 12일 김씨가 안 전 지사를 상대로 제기한 3억원 상당의 손해배상 청구 소송 항소심에서 "피고가 원고에게 8300여만원을 지급하라"고 판결했다. 또한 원고가 충청남도를 상대로 제기한 항소는 기각됐다.
앞서 1심은 안 전 지사가 김씨에게 8340여만원을 배상하고, 그중 5300여만원은 안 전 지사와 충청남도가 공동으로 배상하라고 판단했다.
한편, 안희정 전 지사는 2017년 7월부터 다음 해 2월까지 당시 수행비서였던 김씨를 상대로 업무상 위력을 이용해 4차례에 걸쳐 성폭행을 저지른 혐의 등으로 기소돼 2019년 9월 대법원에서 징역 3년 6개월을 확정받았다.
안 전 지사는 이후 지난 2022년 8월 4일 형기를 모두 채우고 출소했으나, 공직선거법에 따라 향후 10년간 피선거권을 박탈당했다.
