권제이슨 전문의는 연세대학교 의과대학에서 석사와 박사 과정을 마친 후, 신촌세브란스 병원 안과 전문의를 거쳐 순천향 의과대학에서 교직 활동을 하는 등 풍부한 학문적 배경과 국내외에서의 다년간 임상 경험을 보유하고 있다.

울릉군은 그동안 안과 전문의가 없어 관련 질환으로 내원한 주민들의 불편 민원이 발생했으나, 이번 전문의 채용을 통해 울릉군 주민들에게 보다 전문적이고 맞춤형 치료를 제공하며, 지역 주민들의 눈 건강 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
