브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 더불어민주당이 대규모 산불로 인한 국가 재난 상황 속에 헌법재판소의 윤석열 대통령 탄핵선고를 촉구하고 있다고 비판했다.
호준석 국민의힘 대변인은 26일 논평을 통해 "지금은 국가 재난 상황으로 최소 20명이 사망하고, 하회마을과 천년 고찰들이 위협받고 있는 상황"이라며 "이런 가운데 민주당 의원들이 달려간 곳은 헌법재판소 앞이다. 헌법재판관 8명의 이름을 하나씩 호명하며 '국민의 신임을 배신하지 말라'고 협박하는 기자회견을 했다"고 밝혔다.
그는 "국민들이 국회의원을 뽑은 이유는 나라일을 돌보라는 것"이라며 "그러나 민주당 국회의원들은 나라일이 아닌 '이재명 집권'만을 위해 존재한다"고 지적했다.
이어 "민주당은 국가와 국민을 위한 집권이 아닌, 집권 자체를 목표로 하고 있다"면서 "이를 위해 국가와 국민은 전혀 신경 쓰지 않고 있다"고 비판했다.
또한 호 대변인은 "탄핵권을 거머쥔 거대 야당이 헌법재판소에 신속 판결을 촉구하는 것은 사법부를 겁박하고 삼권분립을 파괴하는 행위"라며 "민주당이 헌재가 취할 수 있는 유일한 조치는 파면이라고 주장한 것은 민주주의의 기본을 무시한 것"이라고 주장했다.
