광복회(회장 이종찬)는 오는 4월 1일(화) 오후 1시에 여의도 글래드호텔 블룸홀(LL층)에서 광복 80주년을 기념하여 1세대 이민 120년만에 고국을 방문한 주현측 선생의 손녀 임인자 씨를 비롯한 40여명의 멕시코 쿠바 등 중남미 독립운동가 후손 고국 방문단 환영식을 개최한다.

이날 행사는 국민의례와 내빈소개, 광복회 창립 60주년 소개영상 상영에 이어, 박창운 선생 독립운동가 기념패 전달, 이종찬 광복회장의 환영사, 방문단 대표 답례사, 오찬 및 환영 축하공연, 국가보훈부 유족 등록 설명회, 폐식 순으로 진행된다.
이번 고국방문단의 독립유공자 명단은 ▲주현측(1990, 애족장) 임정구(2013, 애국장) 강영문(2012, 애족장) 권영복(2015, 건국포장), 박희성(2010, 건국포장) 선생 등 다섯 분의 후손, ▲이돈의(2017, 대통령표창) 선생의 후손들, ▲박창운(2011, 애족장) 선생의 후손들, ▲오임하(2014, 애족장) 선생의 후손들, ▲양순진(2015, 건국포장) 선생의 후손, ▲이재희(2011, 대통령표창) 선생의 후손, ▲김경보(2021, 대통령표창) 선생의 후손, ▲윤혁(2022, 애족장) 조기호(2021, 대통령표창) 선생의 후손, ▲김용선(2016, 건국포장) 선생의 후손, ▲이우식(2011, 건국포장) 선생의 후손 등 40여명이다.
