[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해중앙병원에 대한 한국자산관리공사 2차 공매에서 김해복음병원이 낙찰금액 310억원에 최종 낙찰됐다.
중앙병원은 지난 2023년 10월 11일 운영 중단 후 회생 절차를 이행했으나 우선 협상대상자 미확보, 회생계획안의 청산가치 조정 불가로 인해 2024년 11월 회생 폐지 결정으로 공매 처분 절차를 밟았다.
그동안 김해시는 필수의료 공백을 막고자 지역응급의료협의체 기능을 강화해 응급환자의 신속한 이송과 적기 치료 등 응급의료 공백을 최소화하고 경남도와 협의를 통해 지역응급의료센터를 추가 지정해 응급환자 발생에 적극 대비했다.
또 김해시의사회와 협조 체계를 강화해 시민들의 의료기관 이용에 불편이 없도록 하고 지속적인 모니터링으로 시민 불편을 최소화했고 민선8기 도지사, 시장 핵심공약인 김해공공의료원 조기 설립을 추진하고 있다.
김해시는 이번 낙찰로 새로운 의료기관 개설에 따른 지역 간 의료 격차 불균형을 해소하고 중증 환자 의료 인프라를 구축해 56만 김해시민의 건강권 확보를 기대하고 있다.
