(구리=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=구리시(시장 백경현)는 지난 4일(금) 경기도 오산시 롯데인재개발원에서 실시한 2025년 경기도 시군 교육훈련 평가 우수사례 발표대회에서 장려상을 수상하며, 효과적인 교육훈련 정책 추진과 운영에 대한 성과를 인정받는 쾌거를 거뒀다.

이번 경기도 교육훈련 평가 우수사례 발표대회는 경기도 내 각 시군에서 추진한 교육훈련 분야 우수사례를 공유하고 교육훈련의 질적 향상을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.

구리시는 ‘GURI, 맞춤형 교육훈련을 통한 성장과 혁신’이라는 주제로 시에서 추진 중인 각종 교육 프로그램인 △ 전 직원 및 간부 워크숍, △ 신규 공직자 교육 △ 전화 외국어 학습 △ 학습동아리 지원 △ 힐링 프로그램 운영 등을 성장(Growth), 역량강화(Upskilling), 재교육(Reskilling), 혁신(Innovation)의 4개 분야로 나누어 추진하여 시 공무원의 전문성 향상과 행정서비스 개선에 기여한 점을 높이 평가받았다.

백경현 구리시장은 “공무원 교육훈련은 행정서비스와 직결되는 중요한 분야로, 앞으로도 급변하는 행정 환경에 맞추어 공무원들이 능동적이고 효과적으로 업무를 수행할 수 있도록 교육 분야 지원을 더욱 강화하겠다.”라고 전했다.
