[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 11일 금융위원회와 '금융·복지 복합지원 강화를 위한 협업체계 구축' 업무협약을 체결하고, 광역지자체 최초로 시범사업을 추진한다.
협약식은 이날 오후 2시 금융위원회 대회의실에서 박형준 시장과 김병환 금융위원장, 이재연 서민금융진흥원장 등이 참석한 가운데 열렸다.
이번 협약은 금융·복지 복합지원 업무 관련 협력을 통해 근본적이고 효율적으로 취약계층에게 필요한 금융·복지 제도가 지원될 수 있도록 협업체계를 구축하는 것을 목적으로 마련됐다.
이번 업무협약으로, 시와 금융위원회는 금융·복지 복합지원 강화를 위한 협업체계 구축사업으로 ▲찾아가는 복합지원 ▲집중 현장 교육 ▲지역 맞춤형 정책 홍보를 위해 상호 협력한다.

[집중 현장 교육] 시 행정복지센터-서민금융통합지원센터 간 원활한 연계를 위해 기관 상호 간에 상대 기관을 직접 방문해 상담직원을 대상으로 ‘집중 현장 교육’을 실시한다.
[지역 맞춤형 정책 홍보] 사업 추진 사항을 효과적으로 알리기 위해 지역 내 자원을 활용해 맞춤형 복합지원 정책 홍보도 함께 진행한다.
박형준 시장은 “취약계층은 경제적 어려움으로 인한 질병, 불안정한 주거, 실업, 신용불량 등의 문제가 복합적으로 얽혀 있어 통합적인 지원이 필요하다”라며, “이번 협약을 통해 복지와 금융상담이 함께 진행됨으로써 많은 부산시민들이 신속히 제때 적절한 도움을 받을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다"고 전했다.
