진주시, 여름철 산사태 대비 주민대피훈련 실시

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 여름철 집중호우로 인한 자연재난에 대비해 주민들의 신속한 대피체계를 점검하기 위해 진주경찰서, 진주소방서와 함께 합동 주민대피훈련을 실시했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 훈련은 명석면 우수리 일대에서 산사태 경보가 발령된 상황을 가정해 산사태 취약지역 주민을 대상으로 주민 대피 경로 확인과 대피소 운영 상황 등을 중점적으로 점검했다.

이에 앞서 시는 전체 산사태취약지역 157개소 가운데 인근에 주민이 거주하는 154개소를 대상으로, 총 322세대 464명에 대한 대피소 89개소를 현행화하고 사전 준비를 마쳤다.

특히 시는 인명피해 우려가 큰 1등급 산사태취약지역 6개소(41세대 66명)에 대해서는 경보 발령 시 즉시 대피할 수 있도록 대피조력자를 지정해 신속 대응체계를 강화했다.

진주시 관계자는 “산사태 대책 기간에 산사태 예보에 각별히 관심을 가져야 한다”며 “경보 발령 시에는 지체 없이 대피해 인명피해를 예방해줄 것”을 당부했다.
