(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교가 19일, 2025년도 국가직 지역인재 7급 수습직원 선발시험에서 총 8명의 최종 합격자를 배출했다고 밝혔다.
인천대학교에 따르면, 이는 인사혁신처의 전국 지역인재 추천채용제도 도입 이래 인천대에서 가장 많은 합격자를 배출한 기록으로, 지역인재 7급 준비 학생을 대상으로 운영한 다양한 진로·취업지원 프로그램의 성과가 본격적으로 나타났다는 평가다.
인사혁신처가 주관하는 지역인재 7급 수습직원 제도는 전국 대학의 추천을 받은 우수 학생을 대상으로 필기시험(1차), 서류전형(2차), 면접시험(3차)을 거쳐 일반직 7급 국가공무원으로 선발하는 제도다.
인천대에서는 이번 시험을 통해 행정직 6명, 과학기술직 2명이 최종 합격했다.
최종 합격자들은 2026년부터 중앙부처 등에서 1년간 수습직원으로 근무하게 되며, 이후 임용심사 결과에 따라 일반직 7급 국가공무원으로 정식 임용될 예정이다.
인천대학교 취업경력개발원 관계자는 “매년 합격자들과 고민하여 지역인재 전형을 준비하는 학생들에게 도움이 될 만한 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있다”며, “이번 8명 합격은 그간의 노력이 결과로 이어진 것 같아 의미가 크다. 앞으로도 더 많은 학생들이 공직 진출에 도전할 수 있도록 체계적인 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
